1225020 2011-08-22 21:07:00 So, any suggestions as to why Apple products are having the problem? Is it a PDF issue, an embedded image format issue, or just a demonstration that Apple can screw up sometimes as well?

Not all Apple users are affected - I know of one who has no problems.

It will depend on how they have PDFs set to open
Mac Safari can open a PDF file direct in the browser or the PDF can be set to open in Preview and both of those show incorrect
If they have the PDF set to open with Adobe they will not have the problem as it only shows when opened in Safari or Preview
