She went a bit over the top I think, and was not very specific.

1224205 2011-08-29 07:10:00 I saw the daughter's criticism, but missed the docu-drama.

But the thing is, if you ask a kid (even an adult one) what his/her parent is/was like, you will get a totally different response than if you had asked the same question of a friend or colleague of said parent.

My 20-something year old daughter doesn't know half the things I get up to... ;)

1224206 2011-08-29 09:52:00 The greatest comedian NZ has ever produced. Makes Mike King look like a right plonker.

He must have been good if I find myself agreeing with Mikebartnz as I do.

I quite like Ewen Gilmour although haven't seen him live for years.

John Clarke also good although a different sort of comedy, probably considered satire if such as distinction matters.

The original A Week Of It was excellent as well, it just stayed around a bit long and went a bit stale over the years but it was very funny in the first few series.

1224207 2011-08-31 06:58:00 I wish TVNZ or Billy's estate or whoever owns the rights would release Radio Times as a DvD or series of DvDs.

It was quality stuff in a slapstick sort of way, but Billy could not put a foot wrong in those days.

Cheers
