| 1224362 | 2011-08-19 09:19:00 | He wasn't very clever although he probably thought he was. ;) It's been widely known for years that "All Black" is trademarked as is the specific silver fern logo NZRFU uses. As you can see from Silverfern Farms, there are different designs which can be used and not infringe the trademark. It makes a nice story but really this was a guy who tried to piggy-back on a well known brand and lost. |

The bloke may have adopted the phrase merely because, to him, it is euphonious. If he is a keen euphonium player, then he may well have equal rights in logic if not in law. We don't see the Apple & Pear Board leaping about in righteous frenzy every time Jobs pulls off a con, nor do they whine about the shape of the Government's achievements. ;) |

Everybody is happy. Lawyers charge heaps for simply writing a letter that an office person could write. I find rugby boring. I wonder why? |
