1224808 2011-08-21 06:41:00 Hi Guys

Can one of you good people tell me where the fuse box of a 1998 Dihatsu Storia is located?

Have looked in the usual places like under the dashboard, down by the kick panels. Have even looked under the kick panels but I can't find it. Tracing the wires back has been a nightmare as it isn't really practical as wire disappear into wiring looms which go under the dash to who know where.

There is the large fusible fuse box in the engine compartment but don't think it contains passenger space fuses.

If anyone can help me out, it will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Well check that - I have seen simple c clip fuses in the same box as rectangular block type fuses. Though there could be relays switches in there as well. Unless a fuse compartment is hiding above the drivers foot-well, below the dash, but perhaps obscured by carpet or something.

1224811 2011-08-21 07:29:00 Here is an ancient remedy from a rather old work of fiction.
Put a 6mm x 25mm bolt in the place of the festoon lamp in the roof light. The fuse box will be marked by a pillar of smoke by day, or a column of fire by night. ;)

Somebody suggested "There are two fuse boxes: one under the wheel and another in the engine compartment."
Blowed if i know which wheel they mean, possibly the spare wheel or the steering wheel. Most of the others are a bit unlikely.

1224812 2011-08-21 07:35:00 It's a Storia ... try the index ... :D SP8's (9836)
1224813 2011-08-21 08:08:00 Have been looking on Google and the Storia is also sold as a Toyota Duel ... fuse box should be where the others say ... above the accelerator pedal but there's also the possibility of one close to the battery which also contains relays ... and possibly one behind the right side head lamp under the bonnet ...

Good luck ... If all else fails ... ask at the local garage or authorised service agent ... sorry can't be of more help !
