| 1224587 | 2011-08-20 00:57:00 | I am just wondering how do you divide your network so when fixing virus infected machines they cant access your own machine? | nedkelly (9059) | ||
| 1224588 | 2011-08-20 01:50:00 | Didn't/don't have a network. Mostly I would scan the PCs themselves, install anti-malware on them. The few that were too infected I hooked up to the shop PC - they don't boot off it, and NOD and Counterspy would always block anything immediately before I'd even started the scan. If (which never happened) the shop PC had caught anything, I would have just reimaged it anyway. |

| 1224590 | 2011-08-20 03:43:00 | Quite simply dont plug them into the network to clean (as gary said) I'll clean them partly using programs from a USB drive, once clean enough then plug into the LAN to finish off. As Pctek mentioned -- Nod or other software on the LAN PC's will stop any rouge infections anyway. |
