Given that the events you are self righteously whingeing about took place between late 1948 at the earliest, and 1953 at the latest, I think you are a bit late with your gratuitous comments. And I only have the happiest of memories of riding the tractor mudguard. |

| 1226360 | 2011-08-31 23:47:00 | And I guess I must have been driving the truck before I was 8 I guess. Only steering it around the paddocks, whilst cousins fed out. It was handy to have dashboard throttles in those days - cousin put the truck in gear and started it moving, then managed the speed with the throttle instead of the accelerator (that I couldn't reach), then he jumped out and onto the back. I had strict instructions to turn around before I reached the fenceline... I don't think I will post a current photo of myself in case I get identified and the current OSH expert on this forum comes around to give me a smack. |
