Thanks Zara. :) Yes very true - last time this was addressed there were a few users still on dialup who weren't too keen at all on scrolling through pages full of various (probably unnecessary) media, while some of us wanted imbedded images/videos/gif enabled for avatars, etc etc. It's great to have a forum that anyone can easily use... There is a fine line between having a tidy forum (forums.exophase.com) that is up with the times and offers the features people have some to expect these days (attachment of various files types, imbedded video/IMG tags, etc etc etc, and having a forum where people have massive images for their sigs, half hour long .gif animations for avatars and 500 emoticons in each post... It looks like that line will be found in the coming weeks, really looking forward to it! |

Now on thinking that, what if there was an embedded video and the user had video disabled? Would they still get a link to the video or would they get nothing? |

Emoticons are highly irritating, I honestly don't get the need for more than 2 or 3 at the most, i mean they are so pointless they make Justin Bieber look useful |
