1225792 2011-08-25 04:31:00 Someone can have a bit of fun with This picture (en.wikipedia.org(522695099).jpg) - esp the "cheesy" grins.

At least he's stepping down as he said he would

Zoom out enough and you can see that the same things that define Apple’s products apply to Apple as a whole.
The company itself is Apple-like. The same thought, care, and painstaking attention to detail that Steve Jobs brought to questions like “How should a computer work?”, “How should a phone work?”, “How should we buy music and apps in the digital age?” he also brought to the most important question: “How should a company that creates such things function?”

Jobs’s greatest creation isn’t any Apple product. It is Apple itself.

Far greater than the bricks, mortar, apple ephemera and truckloads of greenbacks is the myth of Apple itself.

Not since the Sermon on the Mount has so little been sold to so many by so few and for so long, for so many shekels, and with so much hoopla, while shrouded in so much mystique and for so little reason.

The man sells a fantasy world of exclusivity and secrecy, all on the backs of slave labour in asian countries, and did not hear them weeping.

Steve Jobs is the Saddam Gadaffi of the information technology age, and the Pol Pot of asian labour.

Never though I would see you Billy T resort to such insulting and derogatory comments about someone who is ill even if you don't like them. I find your comments and comparison with Pol Pot and Gadaffi quite appalling.

Apple is not the only company that uses cheap labour so why are you pointing the finger at them
Foxconn is the trade name of Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., a Taiwan firm with operations in China that is arguably the largest manufacturer of electronics and computer components in the world. Almost every major company in America contracts with them: Apple, Microsoft, Motorola, Amazon, Cisco, Intel, Dell, HP, etc. and Foreign companies as well: Sony, Nintendo, Nokia, and many others.

You don't get to be one of the most valuable companies in America by as you put it, selling so much mystique and for so little reason.
Customers have many good reasons for buying Apple products such as United Airlines buying 11,000 iPads to replace onboard flight manuals.
