| 1250687 | 2011-12-26 02:24:00 | Is there such a thing as an Ipod dock to USB adapter.. So you can use all the ipod docked equipment with any USB drive? I have a Samsung S2 and find it a bit queer that even Samsung products don't have a mini USB dock for their phones or anybody elses? Thanks - I have searched too, but must be searching it wrong aye? |

| 1250690 | 2011-12-26 08:35:00 | Nah if it is common its not it, the opposite so you could plug the cable into the dock then plug in another USB device like phone or similar prefer with mini USB. Effectively using the IPOD dock for any USB player. |

| 1250692 | 2011-12-26 09:53:00 | He's not wanting to connect an iPOD to anything, he's wanting to use a USB device that is not an iPOD with an iPOD dock. Cool Idea but I very much doubt it exists. I've been very frustraded with the lack of docks as well, there are basically no accessories for a galaxy . Even the one's they do make are very hard to find and consist of a car bracket and a case.... It's no wonder apple dominate the portable music player market with no one willing to take the risk and make any hardware except the player / phone itself. I love my smartphone, but I would really like a bedside alarm clock dock for it, almost tempted to get a cheap iPOD touch just for that. |

But reading the first line of the OPS questions thats whats asked -- Is there such a thing as an Ipod dock to USB adapter.. So you can use all the ipod docked equipment with any USB drive Thats whyI asked if this is whats wanted, it does just that, any USB device to a Ipod dock. Then add in the comment "USB device like phone or similar prefer with mini USB" thats a simple USB to mini usb cable -- as common as weeds in the garden. :) Hopefully the Op will come back and say ya or na. If thats not whats wanted then please supply a sketch or link to some place in the world for what is. |
