It's not Java.

1225336 2011-08-25 09:44:00 You know what the most fun way to learn programming is? An old (2003 I believe) game called Colobot (www.ceebot.com). It's great fun and allows you to sophisticatedly program robots to do your bidding, saving you from manually controlling them.

It uses its own language, with Java-like syntax (from memory). I had loads of fun with it when I was much younger. I seriously do recommend it to anyone looking for an entertaining way to learn to code.

I have no affiliation with them, in case anyone wonders.
