Select the "Power" button in "Monitor power" box (lower part of Display Properties/Screen Saver box) and ensure "Turn off hard disks:" settings in "Power Schemes" tab under "Power Options Properties" is set to NEVER |

I suspect you're getting the login pane, where it's asking you to log in after the screensaver is deactivated. This is configured at the same app that configures your screensaver. Take the tick out of the bit that says something like "After resume use Login" |
