1252195 2012-01-04 22:07:00 Just recieved my new monitor off trademe, and it's great, but i need a bit of help.

The stand it is on currently has the monitor far too high. Normally these would slide down (school had identical monitors) but it seems stiff on this. Is there a way to push it down to a more acceptable level of viewing.

Also, how to I adjust the color etc.. on this as the buttons on the front are very basic.

thanks.

1252196 2012-01-04 22:17:00 You could try the philips web site www.p4c.philips.com PeterQ (16315)
1252197 2012-01-05 00:23:00 The website was no help. goodiesguy (15316)
1252198 2012-01-05 00:37:00 What did you mean that the web site was no help.

There is a manual 100 odd pages there. Did you download same?

1252199 2012-01-05 03:33:00 I cannot view PDF's, as i do not have Adobe Reader, as it's bloated, and i am unsure of a good alternative. goodiesguy (15316)

1252202 2012-01-05 05:08:00 The manual is useless, just had a look.

With this monitor, it's basically meant to slide down to a more suitable height, but it seems to be stuck.

1252203 2012-01-05 05:31:00 Try a bit more effort, its not supposed to be sloppy PeterQ (16315)
1252204 2012-01-05 05:33:00 According to the manual, it has a swivel type height adjustment -- its basically a up and down -- look at the picture -- its easy to work out. ;)

As for the color -- RTFM :p Its all there, including how to make several adjustments Via the software you can install for the display.
