1228240 2011-09-01 22:10:00 I read that earlier, not really a laughing matter and a little embarrassing :o, but I wonder if he'll take the case to Fair Go for the chair not being up to safety standard :) Iantech (16386)
1228241 2011-09-01 22:38:00 I feel really sorry for the gentleman involved. He requested privacy, and every outlet has published his name. Zara Baxter (16260)

1228244 2011-09-02 07:39:00 I know of a case of a pregnant woman who had her chair collapse. The broken leg went in via the anu5, and penetrated the wall between the #2 and #1 passage (sorry - avoiding words that will probably get this sensored).
Bad at the best of times, but even worse when needing to deliver a baby in the near future!

Thanks to doctors and antibiotics she recovered well, and delivered the baby normally.

Stories like that make you really appreciate
a) good furniture standards
b) good medical care
c) the amazing healing power of a healthy human body
d) peoples spirit in overcoming the trauma of such events
