1228149 2011-09-01 11:57:00 Yep it's happened, I've been told my issues are in the "too hard basket" and that I should "switch to Xtra or Orcon, make it their issue, then when they've sorted it switch back". Yeah right, ya dreaming!

The owner (Ben) has been banned from Geekzone and GP for being rather rude, and there is a thread about HD on GP somewhere.
People were saying that they hoped that he ran his company better but it does not look like he does.

I was *really* hoping things were better with HD after the failed launch on GPForums ... Really wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, and have been a customer for almost a year now. Put up with this crap for just shy of 6 months now, so I'm over it. I moved house on the 14th of March. That's fair time I thought, especially considering with the TDR they expect you to give your ISP 6 weeks to deal with things. I did that and then some! Gave them plenty of chances, told them time and time again I was going to go public with the case, I'm just finally over it all.

EDIT: I don't even care that my speeds are insanely crap. Thats the fault of me being so far from the exchange and so because my attenuation is at 56, I sync around 1400kbps. That's not HD's fault, they've always provided me with 'max line speed'. It's the constant disconnections that drive me up the freaking wall. I get home from work, I wanna relax, jump on Facebook, check my emails, maybe go conquer some middle earth in LOTRO, maybe make a few phone calls (VoIP / SIP line with 2talk). Can't do any of that coz it always drops off. Every day. Without fail. They just don't wanna do anything about it. It was Ben who suggested I leave.

EDIT 2: On a positive note, my Eee Transformer arrived from Amazon today. I'm *highly* impressed with it, so overall today hasn't been too bad ;)

The times I have bought things from trademe and gone to pick them up I just dont have a good feeling when talking to him direct, I really dont know how to describe it.
