2011-09-01 04:42:00 | I voted the first option, but I'm not sure it's correct exactly. My smartphone is on pre-pay with a 100Mb data addon for $10 a month. After that I can buy data top-ups or go on the casual daily rate. I don't make enough calls or text enough to justify a monthly plan, and both home and work have wi-fi available :)

2011-09-01 04:51:00 | I spend $20 on a 1GB monthly data plan from 2degrees, this autorenews when the month is out or the 1GB is used up (with a text notification). I started off with the 100MB plan, then I used it in less than a week

2011-09-01 05:24:00 | My work fone has a 100 Meg data plan and my wifes personal one has a 50 Meg plane. Neither of us would use half our allocation because of WiFi.. | paulw (1826) | |
2011-09-01 05:56:00 | I have a Vodafone on account with 10Mb Data and I use only around 8.5Mb of that. Most of my usage is for e-mail, but I use it for Stuff and NZ Herald on-line especially to fill in time if I'm on the Waiheke ferry. I use GPS all the time, but that's Garmin and doesn't use any data. | WalOne (4202) | |

Well I didn't have the resources to conduct a pilot sample :p A big difference between $10 (or $6 from 2 Degrees) or a $50 plan :D Initially I only wanted to see those who went the extra step and got some kind of a monthly thing (even a $6 or $10) thing or who just went casual daily or none at all ... :thanks |
