| 1227921 | 2011-09-01 00:47:00 | There are currently six Stickied threads on the Chat forum, which pushes the 'normal' threads down the page quite a bit on a widescreen monitor (as opposed to a 4:3 resolution). We could probably afford to lose the following Stickies: Forum upgrade - developments and timeline (pressf1.co.nz) (there's an "Announcement' thread that covers this) Updated forum rules on the way (pressf1.co.nz) (since this is locked do we really need this any more?) PC World Facebook page (pressf1.co.nz) (there's a Facebook icon in the title bar on the page that takes you straight there)[/h] This would provide a bit more page space to sticky the What about an Auckland meet-up? (pressf1.co.nz) thread and still allow a better view of normal threads. |

Also, "Updated forum Rules on the way", and "information for new members" are duplicates. I'm leaving the admin problems just to be sure that folks know that their messages didn't get through. It will stay up for another week, minimum. I've merged the latter threads, you'll note that one is an unstickied pointer. |
