| 1226891 | 2011-08-29 04:22:00 | Picked this one up the other day, shes a great game, well worth the purchase price. As per usual the NZ gaming community ripped into it, focusing on the flaws and blowing everything out of proportion, Now the dust is clearing and even some of the more moronic twats are starting to realise that it is very very good. Like all games it has flaws but imo these are outweighed by sheer awesomeness, and the game has a huge amount of depth. Its quite hard to describe quite how the game play works, as it flows much like a real game, You have to create opportunists by applying pressure and tactics on the fly. And passing requires a lot of care, if you just tell your player to throw the ball to the left then thats all that happens and it ends up on the ground, You need to get your players in position to receive the pass, when it gels then it is superb, when it doesn't it looks and feels scrappy. | 1226893 | 2011-08-29 04:57:00 | Also really enjoying it here, only a couple of issues that have irked me so far; a few times the halfback has just picked the ball up from the back of the ruck and then stood there doing nothing no matter what I press for 2-3 seconds... The other one is occasionally the buttons to score a try do nothing leading to me almost running over the dead ball line or having to run horizontally across the field until he decides to put the ball down. other than that general play is really good |
