1226898 2011-08-29 04:12:00 Hi Guys,

I've just finished making this site (http://www.flagfic.com/) mobile-friendly, and I'm looking for testers with a wide range of mobile devices (e.g. phones, tablets, iPods etc) to make sure it's working as intended on as many devices as possible.

This is what I'm wanting to find out:
What kind of device do you have? Please provide the exact model if possible.
How large is the screen on your device, and what is the screen resolution?
Are you automatically redirected to the mobile page?
Does the mobile page render correctly on your device?
Does the mobile page look about the right size, or are some things too large / small etc?
If your device doesn't automatically redirect to the mobile site, can you also answer Q4 & Q5 for the 'normal' theme?
Do the 'Full Site' & 'Mobile Site' links in the footer work correctly on your device (note: this disables automatic redirection, so please answer Q3 first)? If you are able to provide a screenshot of the mobile and full sites on your device, that would be extremely useful.

Any other feedback is also appreciated.

:thanks

I can't zoom in or out, although that's an IE issue and is probably by design...

I can't zoom in or out, although that's an IE issue and is probably by design...That's definitely an IE thing - the site zooms fine in Chrome, Firefox & Opera.

What I suspect is happening is that IE is obeying the 'user-scalable=no' part of the viewport meta-tag; this is used to disable page reflowing & tap-zoom on mobile browsers for the mobile theme.

Interestingly, when I opened the browser and typed in the address directly, I was redirected to the mobile site.

However, when I popped out of the browser to another app and came back, it refreshed with the full site.

It returned to the mobile site went I manually refreshed the page

1226904 2011-08-29 21:10:00 Interestingly, when I opened the browser and typed in the address directly, I was redirected to the mobile site.

However, when I popped out of the browser to another app and came back, it refreshed with the full site.

It returned to the mobile site went I manually refreshed the pageThat's bizarre.

Are you able to provide any steps for replicating this, or was it a one-off issue?

Thanks for testing :).

They're in the page footer, next to the copyright notice.

Were you just having trouble finding them, or are they not displaying at all for some reason?
