| 1226809 | 2011-08-29 02:09:00 | Anyone here an expert on batteries or able to refer me to a company that is? We have some survey gear here at work and the batteries aren't that flash, The replacement cost is $400 each :illogical. So, I'm interested in if these are just a run of the mill battery with a real cost of $25. Pics attached, the battery is about the size of your average mouse. |

Shipping is included in the price, I've used quite a few of these and they perform impressively. They are unbelievably simple to assemble into a pack - soldering is kids play, unlike most cells. | R2x1 (4628) | ||

The company might give you a fat Xmas bonus for saving them dosh.:D |

| 1226817 | 2011-08-29 10:36:00 | I would fully expect that they will buy the $400 batteries or nothing at all. Its not my call, I'm not even in the division whose call it is, never even met the manager who would make the purchase decision. But I did pass along the info and it was presented to him. It would be madness to repack the batteries, any fault in the gear in the next 5 years would be blamed on anyone who done such a thing, if they were purchased as a unit then there would be someone to pass the buck onto. Hence the "I would fully expect that they will buy the $400 batteries or nothing at all" |
