Would a 10:30 arrival and 4:30 departure work keeping in mind travel times into the city and back to the airport. Probably grab a bus also, taxi's are ridiculously expensive. Airbus. Right to Britomart. Couldn't be easier. http://www.airbus.co.nz/ I use that every time I go to Auckland. Faster than a taxi too most times. |

Other alternative is to take the 380 to Manukau mall, then the 471/472 all the way to Britomart. A return trip would cost a little over $20 with about 1.5-2 hours travel. (2x 4 stages with the 380, 1x $10 day pass with the 471/472) Otherwise the 380 to Old Papatoetoe and take the train to Britomart. But like I said, with a game on the 17th, there may be traffic woes. |

Anywhere? :D The 10th caused a conflict alert for Zara, Jen is busy on the 17th, bob_doe_nz is in limbo for a month, rugby crowds are milling about everywhere for quite some time, perhaps September is just about fully qualified for the too hard basket. October is going to be exams for several members. It's a puzzlement. Maybe we will have to meet in shifts? Or, we could have an evening meet-up (beer and pizza :thumbs:), away from the weekend? Comments please on the back of an envelope, or posted here if that's easier. |
