1227433 2011-09-01 04:26:00 I wouldn't mind seeing a couple of extra user-selectable themes. Although, the actual threads themselves aren't too bad, it's really the main forum index pages I think could look better.

Ads not down the sides is great.+1

1227436 2011-09-01 05:15:00 The subtle colors and the blazing white of the data area is bothersome - old eyes and such.

I'd like to be able to change the font colors as a default on my end, and maybe even the size of the font without changing the size of the actual page.

I can CRT+ and make things bigger - but EVERYTHING gets bigger and it affects the rest of the sites I visit unless I CTRL- toggle back to the size font they use.

I don't need black on white - nor do I need Braille yet - but if I could default-change the stuff I mentioned it would be nice.

Just before they suck their last tar-laden breath, you do indeed.

Seems there comes a time, when change is not appreciated.

I found nowt wrong with the other sytem, I simply adapt, now I have to start again, not nice.

1227439 2011-09-01 05:34:00 The old one did look better I think, but if it needs to be upgraded in the interests of security I think I'd rather have a worse colour scheme than something full of holes. Agent_24 (57)

Why would dinosaurs slurp in a tarpit?

We trained hard . . . but it seemed that every time we were beginning to form up into teams we would be reorganized . I was to learn later in life that we tend to meet any new situation by reorganizing; and a wonderful method it can be for creating the illusion of progress while producing confusion, inefficiency, and demoralization .

1227442 2011-09-01 05:51:00 Why would dinosaurs slurp in a tarpit?Joke answer: it was an ancient form of mud therapy. Real answer: One of the places where dinosaur remains have been found is in the LaBrea (? SurferJoe ?) tarpits in the USA. Presumably there would have been large-scale slurping as they tried to break free.

quote some roman dudeIt is supposed to be Petronius Arbiter, 310 BC, but I suspect it is a bit of an urban myth.
