1227193 2011-09-16 09:55:00 I've made a bookface event, for those who don't mind slathering all of their personal information all over the web; www.facebook.com

All persons are requested to refrain from standing or walking in front of pcuser42 while dining is in progress, as he is harder to stop than a train with no buttons once he gets into his eating rhythm.

Reminds me of Patrick Star in pretty much every scene where he eats.

1227194 2011-09-16 09:57:00 Hey, I said maybe. If it's pizza, yeah, yum. Tired of being nana every weekend now anyway.
Ok, when I did the recount of the gustatrixes, apparently the eyes didn't have it.
So, now we have 8 for yes, still three possibles. And, I almost forgot, Chill is going to try and wheedle Mrs Chill into attending. Zara will still be remanded to Wellington, - whatever she did must have been pretty serious - so it looks as if PCWorld are sending their invariable team of none (light eaters?). We may need more supporters, the rugby fans apparently are going to field a pretty large team.

Pizza = good.
More = better.

More = better.
Beer = Best.

Anyone up for a pub crawl later on? :lol:

1227196 2011-09-16 10:03:00 They serve beer there. And I won't need to rush off to work either. I start at three. :drool bob_doe_nz (92)
1227197 2011-09-16 10:46:00 It just gets better - not as good as beer, but still good. R2x1 (4628)
1227198 2011-09-18 07:32:00 haha parents keep trying to organise things on the 24th.
Going to have to get them to move it to the following weekend.
Hmm where is parking near Britomart?
I dont get into the CBD very much at all from up here in GH.
I can get to skycity ok and then walk places but parking is a whole different matter

EDIT: Just got everything moved so im a yes, and have been told about Britomart's parking facilities

1227199 2011-09-18 07:39:00 There is the Downtown car park near the viaduct (amongst others), but why not leave your car at the free Albany Park N Ride and catch a bus in? May be cheaper. Jen (38)
1227200 2011-09-18 11:14:00 that is true, but then I need to get a bus back there.
Hmm wish smales or Akoranga were park and rides.
Any idea what the car parks fees are?

I imagine that you will be able to park at Smales Farm in one of the office building carparks - they are fairly under-utilised in the weekend and I don't believe they are monitored by parking nazis....

1227202 2011-09-19 00:41:00 Car parking fees (IF you can find a space) are >2-1/2 times the bus fare. Scooting via bus down the busway is possibly a bit quicker, easier for rubernecking, highly unlikely to get a ticket, and rather relaxing in traffic. R2x1 (4628)
