| 1228015 | 2011-09-01 04:59:00 | Had a call from a recorded message. Block must have swallowed the mic his voice was rattling my phone. He didn't identify which insurance company he was bellowing about so at the end I press 1 as requested to get more information. Next day a call from a live person who identified herself as from NZIC which she claimed was related to NZI. I made my feelings known. Since we have our phone listed on the DO NOT CALL list I am surprised if an apparently reputable NZ company doesn't check the Marketing Association DO NOT CALL list. It's like they subscribe to negative advertising. Anyone else heard from the bellowing recording telling them how important it is to have personal insurance? |

Then she said would I like to go in a draw for $5000 or get $10? I chose $10 and lo, $10 cash arrived in the mail the very next day. |

| 1228017 | 2011-09-05 00:06:00 | Hi there. I've noticed your post and checked around to confirm this would not be an NZI - as in the insurance company - activity. NZI doesn't sell direct, instead it is an 'intermediated' brand, meaning NZI policies are sold by independent brokers. If one such broker was using this technique I'd be very interested to know. I'll watch for further information. | IAG (16524) | ||
