| 1253616 | 2012-01-12 03:53:00 | Ok, i have backed a site up for someone, no worries. Now i want to install it to the wamp server running on my machine to test it works. I had downloaded the sql file gzipped as a 12mb sql.qz. I just cannot get it imported through phpmyadmin, i have changed the settings in the ini file to allow longer timeouts, larger files etc, i have put the .sql.gz file into an upload folder on the server so it doesn't need uploading so much as processing, but it just won't import completely. so my next plan is to unzip it and cut it up using SQL Dump Splitter, has anyone tried this or have other suggestions Thanks edit------------ and yes the raw sql file is 60mb. |

Or, flick me the file and the access details (Provided you can allow access to an external IP) and I can do it from the command line itself? If you have a linux box it's not difficult. I'm sure it's doable from Windows also, connecting directly to the SQL server rather than using phpMyAdmin ;) |
