| 1253595 | 2012-01-12 01:20:00 | I installed Windows 7 on my SSD drive but when I put back my old hard drive which is a SATA 3 with my old Windows 7 and disconnected the SSD drive it wouldnt boot. I have an older computer that I have 3 hard drives which are removeable drives and they all boot into their OS. So Im wondering how I can boot back to my old Hard Drive which I made into a removable drive so I can plug it in if I need it | lostsoul62 (16011) | ||

When you installed whatever on the SSD. Then it should / would have given you an option to boot from it or the SSD | Speedy Gonzales (78) | ||

| 1253600 | 2012-01-12 15:40:00 | The bottom line on this computer is I just have to change the boot in the BIOS on which hard drive I want. So if my SSD drive crashes I will insert my other Windows 7 drive which I have in the draw change the boot and I'm back in business. I'm just going to keep the drive as a backup. | lostsoul62 (16011) | ||
