| 1253585 | 2012-01-11 21:52:00 | Hi All, I'm looking for a recommendation for an MFP. I need a multifunction colour laser printer that has a good scanner interface that minimises the number of button presses to scan from the printer to PC. I currently have a Brother MFC7340 which is not too bad for scanning (no colour though) but the 'Controlcenter' scanning application takes focus when scanning each individual page which thereby prevents me working while scanning. I have talked to Brother and there is apparently no way to turn this off. With the Brother I need to make 7 button presses. I also have an Oki MC361DN colour laser MFP which easily has the worst UI I have ever seen. Way too many button presses to get something scanned. I'm looking for a MFP that can scan with say three button presses or less. Scanning is primary function, colour printer secondary, fax is a non-issue. Thanks in advance. |
