1228387 2011-09-02 22:52:00 I liked this comment in the Herald:
Associate Professor Bill Hodge of the Auckland University law school said he was concerned a person's position in society could get them "special treatment in the courts".

"If he'd been an auto mechanic he would have been down the drain before you could blink."

We are used to the All Blacks getting special treatment, but now teleprompt readers? The problem here is clearly with the Judge's total lack of judgement. Some sex offenders go through 'victim empathy' training as part of the treatment process, but in this case I believe this loony judge ought to go through it as well.

1228392 2011-09-13 00:30:00 Unless his wife is around the same height as your average four year old and frequently wears nappies to bed herself, then I don't see how on earth getting his kid mixed up with his wife (regardless of how drunk he is) is any kind of defence.

As for being talented and making people laugh... how does that make molesting your four year old OK?! Whole thing makes me sick.
