280 1998-09-07 06:28:00 External Drive - works OK, however when I boot up message says to ensure disk cache supports removable drives. How do I do this? Guest (0)

Control Panel -->System -->Performance tab File System Removable Disk tabLol... I'm sure you've fixed this by now, but with people deciding to reply to old posts, I figured I would find the oldest and reply to that :p

Incidentally, why is it that MS in all their wisdom have decided to keep the above article, but remove nearly everything else pre-XP?

Edit: Hmm, seems I was beaten to the oldest... oh well
