| 270 | 1998-09-06 02:45:00 | I have a HP 166mmx, 4.3g hard drive,CD rom, windows 95 etc. When trying to run scandisk or defrag I keep getting a message that the program has restarted 10 times due to a program writting to the disk. I have closed all programs in normal mode(ie virus scan, keyboard manager, MS Office etc) and have also restarted the computer in safe mode. Altough safe mode allowed scandisk to perform for alonger period I still ended up with the message above. Can anyone assist me in this problem. |
