357 1998-09-13 10:21:00 When I first installed IE 3, I decided to activate contents advisory control (View>Options>Security then 'Contents advisor'). I set some convenient acceptable contents levels, and a password. Some time later I discovered that many sites (well, it seems like *most* sites !) do not necessarily have the contents level set to anything other than null or blank. At some levels, IE 3 treats this as doubtful contents and disables access to the site. I want to modify this behaviour somewhat, but I no longer have the supervisor password (Duh!). So, what do I do ? Reinstalling IE 3 does not clear the problem, so presumably the solution has something to do with editing the registry (gulp !). Guest (0)
