| 493 | 1998-10-01 23:16:00 | I have a Hewlett Packard ScanJet 5p connected via the SCSI that comes with the scanner (a Symbios Logic 53C400A). When I install the scanner Win95 detects and asks for the driver etc., but once the installation is complete and I restart the computer I get the message 'This device is missing or not working properly' in the device manager. I have checked for all the usual problems (IRQ conflicts etc) but have got nowhere. Any clues would be greatly appreciated. GT |
