| 536 | 1998-10-07 03:42:00 | I have recently purchased a computer preloaded will windows 98. It is set up using the fat 32 system. All the programmes and drivers are on a restore disc which when used restores everything including fat 32. I do have the Windows 98 CD ROM but nothing else. No modem drivers or anything. I want to use disc commpression and my anti virus software which cant be done (I am told) with fat 32 file system. Is there anyway to get my restore disc to not use fat 32 or if I reformat the drive myself and install win98 will I find my modem etc wont work because I haven't got the drivers. Thanks Gareth Computer Zenith Data Systems 266 Pent.11 Processor 32 Meg Ram 56 K modem 32 max cd rom |
