| 546 | 1998-10-07 11:36:00 | I recently upgraded to Windows 98 and converted my hard disk to FAT32. After converting to FAT32,I ran the Windows 98 's disk defragmenter. After 2 hours, the hard disk only had 11% defragmented (it's only a 1.2GB hard disk and I ran disk defragmenter regularly when I had Win95). I don't think the disk defragmenter had restarted, because I had disabled the screen saver and the virus scanner, I closed most programs leaving only the basic ones running. Is there any possible way that I could run disk defragmenter faster? Pentium 100 processor 80 Meg RAM |
