| 522 | 1998-10-04 22:44:00 | I need to re-format my hard disk. Is it possible to save settings for the Start Menu, Office 97 programmes, dictionary locations, DUN, etc? Alternatives that have occurred to me include saving the two registry files onto another computer, re-formatting, and then retrieving the registry files. However, with this approach I would possibly retain settings that would be superfluous. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you. Pat Poland ppoland@xtra.co.nz |
