| 552 | 1998-10-09 13:15:00 | I'm currently working on a Compaq Preserio 486/25, after the memory test on boot up the the computer prints the message the systems settings are gone. The computer no longer recgonizes the hard drive and I think it is trying to read the 3 1/2 inch floppy as a 360 kb 5 1/4, which points to a stuffed BIOS, however, there is no information on how exactly to get into the BIOS since I don't have the mannuals. Any ideas? Cheers |
