| 565 | 1998-10-11 03:34:00 | The problem being this : I have tried re-installed win 98 twice both failing to pick up my IDE cables. I am talking about this when I boot up win 98 it cannot find the cd rom etc even hard drives but BIOS does. Something I guess in the registry has happened because win 98 cannot pick up any hd's at all in Control Panel - System. Everything was fine until I re-installed my OS and the problem is getting to me. Anyone know what the problem could be ? And no the cables are in the right positions and everything is all plugged in I guess it's Win 98. Thank You Matt |
