| 614 | 1998-10-19 02:34:00 | Hi, my name is Terry Vaa. I have a Win95 system and I installed Interlnk.exe into my Config.sys file as follows: device=c:\interlnk.exe Everything worked fine transferring all my old files from my old 486 but after I had finished transferring I deleted that line out of my Config.sys file. Whe I rebooted however Win95 boots up only in safe mode. If I restore the line back into Config.sys. Everything is fine. I do not want to leave it like this as I need my 486 hooked up all the time. Win95 seems to keep looking for the 486 drives and wont take NO for an answer. It will not stop looking therefore it will not start at all. Please help Thanks P.S - I realise it has got something to do with my settings/software etc, so I have enclosed a complete diagnostics file of my computer |
