I was running a Dos programme Graphic Workshop (GWSDOS) and it suddenly decided on bootup to give me a screen message 'Graphic Workshop for DOS will be installed in C:/GWSDOS' etc. Upon agreeing with this or otherwise it then comes up with a DOS screen message giving me a warning that the application archive file has been altered or damaged. I have now deleted the programme but I still get this Reminder message each time I boot up. Where do I go to get rid of this annoying message. The programme is shareware and I suspect that the message was put there to get one to register it?. I now use Windows graphic viewers so don't want it. Any help would be appreciated. |
