| 632 | 1998-10-20 13:16:00 | I installed a trial copy of Quarterdeck's 'Clean Sweep' to try it out but didn't like it so I decided to remove it. I removed it by accessing the 'Add/Remove Programs in the settings menu. An install shield box appeared on the screen, I hit enter then all hell broke loose. The programme was uninstalled BUT my add/remove box in settings is now completly empty. I have tried reinstalling some software which was there before but it still does not show when you select the 'add/remove programs'. A friend suggested that 'clean sweep' and other uninstall programmes do nasty things to the setup so I tried reinstalling Win95 but this still has not rectified my problem. |
