| 694 | 1998-10-30 05:04:00 | I have a trusty old panasonic KXP4450 laser printer - HP Laserjet+ emulation. I have attached it to a Win 95 PC and it works fine. However, it prints true type fonts very slowly and the built in fonts (courier and century) are not very appealing. I would like to download a few basic Times New Roman and Ariel type fonts into its memory - it has 1.5meg. The Win 3.1 Bitstream font manager I have will not work in 95, the new Bitstream Navigator does not download printer fonts and HP FontSmart only works on HP 5 laserjets and higher. Can you tell me where I might find a font installer - and a few fonts - that will do the job. I have trawled the web without success. Thanks Douglas |
