| 697 | 1998-10-28 21:02:00 | is there a simple way to add todays date to a file name? The is a batch file that is run everyday and zip a directory to a file on another drive. The file is too big to put on 1.4MG Disk and beside there is a need to keep EVERY backup made. Currently the files are manually renamed to the date of backup ('981029.zip' etc.). Is there a way to automate this process without any user intervention? |
