| 740 | 1998-11-06 09:50:00 | CD-ROM Hang up. When I boot up my 486 DX2-50 without a CD in my CD-ROM drive, the computer hangs and does not carry out the Windows 95 load sequence. When I do have a CD in the drive Windows 95 loads correctly but the CD-ROM MSCDEX command detects that I have two CD-ROM drives when I only have one. Also when I change the CD I have to reset and reboot before the drive can read the CD. Can you help? |
