I got some new external hardware which plugs into a 9-pin comm port (It also comes with an adapter for a 24-pin port).
I had to use the adapter because the only 9-pin was taken by the mouse, the hardware is now plugged into COM2. But the software that comes with the hardware only works with COM1. I tried changing the mouse and the hardware around and use the Hardware Detection to change, but no success. How can I change the mouse from COM1 to COM2 and make it run? |
