| 818 | 1998-11-20 03:10:00 | I have the option of upgrading my p133 to either a p233 MMX or a k6-300. Concerning 3d games like Quake2 I know that the K6's fpu math performance is pretty bad and so Quake2's performance is pretty bad when compared to running with an Intel chip's but, I have a 3DFX voodoo1 card and was wondering if when running supported 3d games if the 3d card removed the relience on the chip for fpu math? I would like to know which one of these cpu's would offer the best performance for me with 3d games & multimedia apps. |
