I have trouble getting the machine to recognise that the Microsoft FF Joystick is connected. Each time I wish to use it (even though it is powered up and humming) I have to go to Control Panel, Joysticks and double click on the FF Joystick entry. The result is a message that says it is not connected. I then cancel the message, manually pull out the plug from the back of the machine, reinsert it and then double click on the FF Joystick entry. At which point it is recognised and all is okay. This must be done prior to starting the software I wish to use.
Has anyone any ideas how to stop this need for replugging. Many thanks |
