| 790 | 1998-11-14 12:36:00 | Recently, I've been getting disconnected every now and then for no apparent reason. I've checked with Telecom and IHUG and it's definitely not incoming calls and my phone lines are working perfectly. However, I just found out that when I choose to diagnose my modem fControl Panel, it shows in a window 'AT2 Error'. I can't really remember if it's AT or something else. The main thing is the word 'error'. Do you think upgrading the modem to 33.6kpbs would work? I've had the disk well over a year now but the warnings posted in the Readme.txt always made me delay the upgrade until I can find someone technical enough to deal with it. By the way, I'm using an IBM 365XD Laptop with a New Media 28.8 PC Card modem. |
