1230198 2011-09-10 07:43:00 Hi guys and gals

Was wondering if anyone knows where I can source a part within New Zealand? I have a 15" MacBook Pro 5,1 (2.53GHz/8GB/500GB) and I need a new SATA <-> HDD Cable for it (Not the superdrive one, the one that connects the HD and sleep lights).

I see that I can get it on ifixit and other sites, but would prefer to see whether it's possible to buy within the country first!

Cheers!

My experience with these people is that "refurbished" means they have seriously raised the price for some part that may or may not work. However their guarantee is honoured well - "If it breaks, you may keep all the pieces and we will keep all the money".

As you see, a normal sata cable may not work on the laptop.
