1229364 2011-09-09 09:00:00 I think someone has just flicked the switch, we are now getting a direct sound feed.

Youre probably getting it quicker than us...

1229365 2011-09-09 15:57:00 Well, I just got back 30 mins ago from Eden Park. The sight of Britomart was disgusting. You'd think people would have SOME standards. I guess once they go on the piss all hope is lost.

Also, if you were in EP, west stand, and saw a fat chinese guy with a radio and a folder looking disgruntled, it's probably me.

1229366 2011-09-10 03:38:00 watching from Bastion point was mint. Drove down and got there about 7.45. Found a park no problem, about 15 mins walk from the point. Walked up stairs, watched all the fireworks and had a really great view. Finished, walked back and drove home no worries. Best idea I had all week :) Barnabas (4562)
1229367 2011-09-10 03:48:00 The sight from my deck in Waiatarua was pretty good too, although a bit distant, obviously. We had a perfect demonstration of the speed of sound - the booms from the explosions could be heard for what seemed like ages after the light show had finished. Tony (4941)
1229368 2011-09-10 04:06:00 Does anyone know if the opening ceremony on TV1 will be in HD? I know TV3 are advertising all their RWC content as being in HD but I can't find out if TV1 are or not.

According to what I recorded it was 1920x1080...and 3.17 GB lol. Thats a lot for less than 40 mins (if its not HD)
