1254415 2012-01-16 03:53:00 You can also use Windows mail from Vista. But first you have to copy the windows mail folder from Vista. ie: If you install Win7 x64, you HAVE to copy the WM x64 folder from Vista x64 before you install Win7 x64 (NOT Vista 32 bit)

Then download a few reg files (so everything works after) you copy / paste the WM folder in Win7

Sounds interesting if it can be done however.

1254417 2012-01-18 05:56:00 It can be done, I've done it in Winy7. But you need Windows mail x64, or x86 from Vista first. The version that comes with Win7, doesnt work Speedy Gonzales (78)
1254418 2012-01-18 05:59:00 I think the PC with Vista is 32bit QW. (15883)
1254419 2012-01-18 06:15:00 Just as long as Win7 is 32 bit you can copy the windows mail folder from Vista 32 bit (before you format the hdd). But, you cant copy 64 bit to 32 bit. Or vice-versa tho. Is Win7 32 bit as well? Speedy Gonzales (78)
