Open Itunes, (Top Left) File, "Add File to Library", or if a whole folder of music "Add Folder to library" -- Navigate to the location of the file(s) or folder, select and it will import. |

I note Wainui that if the transfer source you navigate to happens to be an external source such as a pen drive which holds your mp3 file, the transfer fails once you have disconnected the external drive. This is a real issue when you want to transfer songs from somewhere else outside of you computer into iTunes. Do you have to put the file into some other location first on your PC before you can import it ? |

Thats because you're removing the flash drive. It needs to be on the hdd in a folder. Copy whatever to a folder then it'll find it |
